How to Create PDF Files

Creating a PDF file is a great way to share your ideas and to make sure that they can't be altered without leaving an electronic footprint. There are multiple ways to create a PDF file and all of them are fairly quick and easy. This wikiHow article teaches you 4 different ways to create PDFs.

  • In Word on PC or Mac, go to "File > Save As" and select "PDF" as the file type or format, then click "Export" or "Save."

    • This is the easiest and best way to save a webpage as a PDF. You'll need to repeat this process for all separate pages on the site that you want to save, like for an About Me and Contact page. Once you have separate PDFs for those, you can merge them in multiple ways.
  2. Press (Windows) or (Mac). This will open the Print Menu.
